A banker shop is the traditional name for a stonemason’s indoor workshop—where raw stone is hand-cut, carved, and shaped on a flat masonry bench known as a banker. This is where the art of banker masonry happens: detailed carving, shaping, and finishing of stone components before they're installed on site.
